MPAC at the 14th Annual NCHEP Conference

MPAC staffers and University of Maine at Augusta alum, Linda Small and Cuba Jackson, attended last month’s 14th Annual National Conference on Higher Education in Prison. NCHEP 2025 was hosted in New Orleans by the Alliance for Higher Education in Prison featuring a series of presentations and workshops from thought leaders, educators, and practitioners dedicated to expanding access to higher education for incarcerated individuals.

This year's conference theme also focused on innovation and equity, highlighting both the challenges and breakthroughs in higher education within the criminal legal system. It was an inspiring opportunity for MPAC staff to connect with individuals and organizations across the country committed to transforming lives through education.

Our team looks forward to next year's event!
