Joseph Jackson, Executive Director of MPAC, was among the list of exceptional change-makers who have been honored with the distinguished 2025 Maine Black Excellence Award presented by The Third Place with the reception held at Caswell Farm & Wedding Barn in Gray, ME on Friday, August 1, 2025. This esteemed recognition celebrates outstanding leadership and unwavering dedication to advancing community empowerment.
The Black Excellence Award highlights Mr. Jackson’s impactful contributions and steadfast commitment to fostering positive and meaningful change within the community. Under his leadership, MPAC has made significant strides in creating opportunities, advocating for equitable policies, and promoting inclusivity that benefits incarcerated individuals, their families, and loved ones.
